Although his career in the film world is still quite short but the name is Taylor Lautner can be equated with Hollywood stars on board. A little surprise when it was rumored that this young actor will star in an indie film. Looks like this is not purely a matter of money but also about the passion in acting.
This time Taylor Lautner going to work with Gus Van Sant who could make a scene through the film MILK starring Sean Penn in 2008. Budget film production is not too big but Taylor Lautner's involvement not only in terms of acting. Taylor will reportedly also served as a producer via his Quick Six Productions.
So far there has been no known title but Gus Van Sant's almost certainly going to bring the crew and the cast to the set early next year. Gus seems also not willing to divulge the story line that will be offered this indie film. Contact Music reported that this film is based on a non-fiction story that was published in the magazine The New Yorker.
In the same news also mentioned that this film will eventually differ greatly from TWILIGHT SAGA series. Taylor Lautner himself seemed very much hope to be rid of Jacob Black's image during the time he played in the TWILIGHT SAGA. Therefore he also received an offer to play in the movie Abduction circulated last September.
